Our breath is the most immediate source of energy and healing for our physical, emotional and spiritual well-being. We take in most of our life energy through our breath – just as we expel the majority of all toxins through our breath. The fact that cancer cells are only growing where not enough oxygen reaches the cells in our body, reveals the potential healing power of our breath.

It brings up what is predominant for your life circumstances – like with a magnifying glass, it shows you what wants to be looked at. While Breathwork uses one special breathing pattern, the application of conscious breathing excercises is much more deliberate and sophisticated. The excercises address various specific issues for physical, emotional and spiritual well-being.
For me, conscious breathing is the holy grail to gain more self-awareness, which helps us to take more responsibility for ourselves. Conscious breathing invigorates our private and business lives in many ways.

Why is proper breathing so important?
Many of us suffer from restricted breathing patterns due to polluted air, work environments, past experiences, etc. We use only about 1/3 of our lung capacity and could take in so much more life. The positive physical effects of improved breathing are undisputed and when you consciously connect to it more often, it becomes a mindfulness training that is also calming and focussing your mind. How we breathe is how we live – just observe what happens to your breath in more challenging situations.
